This course is available at no cost to SUNY students. This lab manual accompanies the college chemistry courses and is used to support and assess knowledge acquired in the classroom setting to be applied in the real world. Chemlab is developer-friendly, it provides good documentation and has an easy structure to get in. This can make it confusing across user communities.
Candela: Lumen Learning’s Candela courses provide curated and outcome-aligned open educational resources (OER) in a convenient e-book format.Lumen’s online homework system, OHM, provides frequent practice, machine grading, and immediate feedback to help students learn and master math and other quantitative subjects.Ĭhemistry I Laboratory Manual is available as a Candela and OHM course. Content includes text, images, videos, assessments, directed feedback, practice questions, and other interactives that invite students to apply their knowledge and improve their understanding. Lumen OER courses apply learning science insights to engage students and better support the learning process.
Precursor Chemicals: The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board. Labs include activities such as measuring the density of a sucrose solution, calculating the percent composition, stoichiometry, determining limiting reactants and more to complement an introductory chemistry course. This lab manual was developed by Jessica Garber Morales at Tidewater Community College. THCA regulations also do not apply to students who are not employed by TSU or a TSU Agency.
